I noticed Creekwood as I was driving down Sacramento St. several weeks ago and thought it looked sleek and interesting so mentioned it to hubby and so Thursday evening, we were hungry and decided to walk in just before 6pm. It wasn't a problem to get a table. There were several people there, but definitely tables and the bar available. By the time we left, around 7:30, it was hoppin' and looked full up! Service was wonderful. I ordered Prosecco (perfect) and hubby ordered an IPA. We began drinking our drinks and the waiter came over to let hubby know that he made a mistake and brought him a different beer - so the next beer (the correct beer) was on the house. Hubby ordered halibut crudo to start, and I ordered the brussels sprouts. The crudo was simple and good. The brussels sprouts are "pistachio fried peppercorn praline" preparation. Honestly, we didn't taste any of those flavors, but that said, they were delicious and I'd order them again. For the main I ordered the halibut main dish and it was exactly as you'd expect and good. Hubby got the pappardelle and liked it very much. What we really enjoyed was the warm environment, the friendly service, and the multiple options of items we could order...especially me, being pescatarian. This could definitely become our go-to comfort place. So yeah, we'll definitely be back!

Just tried Creekwood for dinner, and it's excellent! The vibe is relaxed, nothing over-the-top, and the food is just really good. Everything tastes like they really know what they're doing without making it a big production. The staff was super cool and easygoing, which added to the whole feel of the place. Very good restaurant all around! We can't wait to try the brunch!

Husband and I are in Berkeley for the night and took to Yelp to find a good place for dinner. Creekwood it was! We had a reservation for 7pm but arrived a bit early. We were greeted immediately by the owner who was happy to accommodate us right away. The place is small but the ambiance is great. Got a little loud at times but nothing that really bothered us. We decided on the golden beet salad, little gem salad, and the Italian sausage pizza. They asked if we'd like to have the salads out first, to which we said yes, and we requested a bit of extra char on the pizza. The salads were great. My husband liked his beet salad a lot and it ended up being too much to finish. My little gem salad was really good, and really different. The heads of lettuce were served whole, but they were tiny and super cute! There was probably 6-7 heads of little baby lettuce. It came with sliced fingerling potatoes, crispy pancetta, red onion, Parmesan, and a soft egg. So good!! The crème fraiche vinaigrette was different but very tasty. I really enjoyed that salad, though it was a bit of work to cut up each head of lettuce. Our pizza was a bit smallish but it was good. Our only complaint was that the dough they used was very bland and pretty lacking. But the sauce and sausage were really tasty. Service was very attentive throughout. Our water glasses never emptied and they were great about checking on us periodically. We definitely enjoyed our meal and I would happily return.

I have not been there since they are first opened. Went on saturday night dinner. 1) same nice decor, clean, modern look 2) Waitress is attentive and nice 3) Ordered Gaupacho cold tomatoes soup very tasty 4) ordered mushroom pizza, I have more high expectation, somehow, when they first opened, I felt their pizza is better than saturday. 5) ordered Gnocchi in pesto sauce, very tasty according to my husband. 6) dessert tiramishi's size is very big, good value.

Ambiance is nice... calm and relaxed. Service is good, Food is exceptional!!! Ordered Burrata A+... tomatoes so fresh, cheese soft deliciousness and homemade rustic bread. Crispy Brussel sprouts B+....generous portion. Ravioli summer squash A- (2-3 minutes longer cooking time would have been perfect, sauce excellent) Mushroom Pappardelle... A+++, pasta fresh home made perfection, mushrooms, cream sauce fantastic. If I lived close this would be a regular visit. Excellent Food!!! Make reservations... there was a line and steady patrons.. full restaurant, but food came quickly.

What a cute little place. We got a bunch of things to share and the hits were burrata and little gem salad. We shared the margarita, prosciutto, and a corn & asparagus pizza. I know the corn one sounds weird but it was pretty good. They had great wines, we sat outside, and service was lovely. Worth trying if you are in the area.

I appreciate that Creekwood takes reservations for weekend brunch. Restaurant was packed. We were seated immediately, service was quick and the food was great. We will definitely return for breakfast and brunch but the ambient noise level might be a bit too high for a nice dinner. Otherwise a very pleasant experience.

First time at Creekwood today and everyone enjoyed their meals. Very easy to make a reservation via calling in. I came in with a group of 6 for my mom's bday and was greeted promptly by staff. We started with the Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers. I got the crab ravioli and they were nicely stuffed with crab. I tasted the pappardelle and next time would get this over the ravioli or try one of the pizzas. The flourless chocolate cake was great, light and not too sweet. The salted caramel and Oreo gelato were tasty as well. Service was nice but we didn't get checked on after all the food arrived. Indoor and outdoor seating available Street parking only

I went for the first time and had dinner here yesterday. It had been on my list and I'm glad I finally tried it. I made a reservation at 730 on open table and I'm glad I did. The reservation was easy to get on the same day but they were also very busy. The host sat us right away, the server was kind and the food came fairly quickly. We ordered the meatballs to start and they were good, just a little salty. Then I ordered the short rib and my boyfriend ordered the ribeye. Both were perfectly coooked and incredibly tasty. We were too full for dessert but I look forward to coming back and trying more things soon!
